Jason’s favorite way to carry Holt around–like a sack of potatoes. Isn’t his state sweatshirt cute?! He wore is all day Saturday as well to cheer on the Wolfpack as they stomped Carolina. Sorry Mom you are out numbered!

Two of our great friends Morgan and Ryan gave birth to their first son, Samuel James Doherty. We’re so excxited to have another boy around. Congrats Doherty’s (editor’s note: Jason wants everybody to see what carrying a child around in a car seat does for biceps….he now as a little pimple on his arm)
Jason’s grandmother and great grandmother came to visit us all the way from Kansas. Yep, that’s right I said great grandmother, so Holt’s great great grandmother. Pretty cool. Thanks for visiting us Grandma and Grandma B!
I had the day off for Veteran’s Day and had the best time hanging out with Holt all day long! This afternoon while we were visiting Becca and Eli, Holt was smiling and making the cutest noises for probably 45 minutes straight. He’s such a happy baby!
Jason officially declared Saturday Holt’s day to “Be a Man.” No yellow outfits (which he claims is not gender neutral), no girly t.v. shows like “What Not to Wear,” and all other things he deemed girly. Here are a few pictures from his day.

Man day ran all the way into the wee hours of the night. It ended with Holt pretending to ride a bull. The closest thing Jason could find to that was poor Smithie. She’s so good with him, even though she has devil eyes.
Holt on Halloween helping Jason pass out candy to all our the little trick or treaters. We went through two huge bags of candy! We love our neighborhood!
We went to the doctor yesterday for Holt’s two month checkup and he’s up to 11 1/2 pounds! We’re so thankful to have a heathly baby who is such a good sleeper.
