Holt turned 6 months old this week. Time flies. We go to the doctor on Monday for his 6 month check up so we’ll be sure to post his stats. He’s still a tall, skinny little man so hopefully the solids will help him plump up a little bit. He’s got four teeth now and strong legs, but no crawling yet, although he has been turning over in his crib! Couldn’t imagine life without our Holtie!
We finally had a weekend all together at home. Last weekend I took Holt, Smithie and myself all to Concord while Jason was left a home by himself on Valentines’ Day…poor guy! We started working on our backyard project this weekend aka the Hedge from Hell. We made alot of progress but we still have tons to go. Holtie continues to love his Johnny Jump Up and his top two teeth are coming in and they are very large and spread apart.
This week was Holt’s first attempt at carrots and it sure was fun! He wasn’t quite sure what to make of them at first…but in the end we think he likes them. Katie liked them when she ate a bite full of it out of curiosity. Gross.
oh yeah…he’s still obsessed with his feet.
Finally, here are some updated pics. I’m not sure what to blame on my laziness in posting new pictures. Holt has found his feet and loves to eat his toes and put his socks and shoes in his mouth. We bought a ‘Johnie jump up’ for the doorway and he LOVES it. When he’s jumping around he looks like he’ll be the next river dancer…..
