Sorry for the delay in posting! We’ve been really busy around here, but Holt keeps on getting bigger and bigger. In fact, this week we brushed his teeth. Yep, he’s 7 months old and has 6 teeth, and it’s the first time we’ve ever brushed them. We had no clue you were supposed to brush them that early!! Well, now little Holtie likes to have his teeth brushed so he won’t grow up to be like daddy! Check out the video
Today is just a few videos for your enjoyment. The first is me tickling Holt’s neck. He is so ticklish! The other video is when Jason went into Holt’s room the other day to wake him up and found Holt with his blanket pulled up over his head. Crazy kid!!
Holt had his first trip to the beach weekend. It’s was cold and overcast the whole time but it was so nice to get away. We took a long walk on the beach on Friday and Holt loves watching the waves and the birds. Looking forward to the summer!!
My life! Check out what happened after I left for Bible study tonight…
Last week Holt decided he did not want to eat any rice cereal, no sweet potatoes, no bananas, no carrots, no peas, NOTHING except his prized bottle. So we took a few days off from the real food. This week he opens his mouth wide when i’m trying to feed him the rice cereal and he’s even been eating some squash. I wouldn’t say he loves the squash but he’s eating it! Check out his little curl. I think Smithie has been licking his head!
Despite the snow, we went to the doctor today for Holt’s 6 month check up. Like always, Jason and I always make a bet on how much Holtie weighs and once again i was victorious–Jgas owes me some Goodberry’s ice cream…. Oh yeah, check out this video of Holt in his Johnny Jump Up. He loves it! And be sure to look at Smithie in the background–we live in a crazy house!
