Holt and Abigail were having a little too much fun playing today and had a collision. Poor Holt looks beaten up with his red eye, mosquito bites and stratches all over. He’s all boy–Jgas you would be so proud. He even had greasy hair!

Yesterday was Holt’s 11 month birthday. So, being that we are 1 month out from him being 1 year old, we decided to give him a small piece of Katie’s birthday cake as a trial run. Here is the result.

Holt also thoroughly enjoys digging the brushes out of my drawer in the bathroom and crawling with them in his hands. Oh yeah, that thing on his cheek is a mosquitoe bite.
This past week was also Katie’s birthday. Happy birthday Wifey! I love you! That cake was the BOMB.com! Nothin but chocolate.
These pictures don’t do what i witnessed tonight justice but Holt and Smithie were playing with the baseball back and forth tonight for a solid 20 minutes. Holt would find the baseball and drop it and then Smithie would go chase after it, then Holt would crawl to Smithie and grab it from inside her mouth. Priceless. Holt was dying laughing everytime Smithie pounced on the ball that he ‘threw’. Jgas–you would have been so proud that Holt was playing with the baseball!

This is Holt’s favorite spot–his toy corner

It’s just about time for Holt’s first hair cut. Some days (mostly when it’s a hot humid summer day) Holt has crazy curls in the front and super straight whispy hair in the back. It looks like two totally different kids. Then other days (when i brush his hair after a bath) he has nice calm sweet baby boy hair!

Check out the sweet pony tail! Jgas was thrilled!

Best buddies especially now that Holt has learned to share his Cheerios with Smithie girl!

The Gastons had a fun 4th of July! We started off the day in typical Saturday tradition–breakfast at Panera and then off to the pool. Holt loves the water and he even took the plunge underneath the water this week and did great! Saturday night we went to visit the Doherty’s. Holt and Samuel had a great time playing in Dohertyville!

that’s Holt’s buddy Samuel.

Check out Holt’s big boy pjs! And that expressions–just like his daddy!
