Mother’s Day brunch at preschool

Our first blueberry from our bushes!! I was so excited about this. And we have been able to pick some everyday.

And Holt decided to draw himself a new eye brow with permanent marker on Mother’s Day!
i can’t believe i havent posted about strawberry picking yet. We went the first day Jean’s Berry Patch opened (beginning of April) and we have been 5 times since! Holt loves it and he seems to be on mission this year–doesn’t stop to take time to eat them anymore it’s always a race to see who has the most berries in the bucket for him. And oh Annie. She loves going and will eat the berries straight from the bush. I mean like a dog–she bends down and bites them off the bush–doesn’t even bother to grab them with her hands. the first time we went i couldn’t wait and wanted to be the first people there when it opened so i went by myself with both kids (yes i’m a little obsessed). Annie was on my back in the ergo screaming the whole time and Holt got soaking wet from all the puddles even with rain boots on. I learned my lesson after that and always took another adult with me! sadly i only have a few phone photos to document our strawberry picking as it was all hands on deck with these 2 crazy kids.
A little late but had to put up these cute pictures from our trip. Jgas was out of town and Holt was on spring break so it was a perfect chance for me and the kids to go visit Meg, Hutch, Cole and Bailey. We had the best time. You know how traveling by yourself with kids normally is stressful and crazy–well not this trip–it was absolutely perfect. The kids had the best time, they played great together, Meg and I got lots of hang out/catch up time and we loved every minute of it. We had great weather and even got to go to the beach! We can’t wait to visit again and hopefully with Jgas this time! Thanks Hutchinsons!! Love yall

Annie is totally into books these days. Maybe because we never read to her before and she’s finally realizing what books are?? She’ll bring me or Jgas a book and plop right down in our lap so we can read it to her…over and over again. I love it.
And Holt now loves to ride his mack daddy bike. He was a little intimidated of it at first but now he begs to ride around the block multiple times every single day (which is up and down some hills! yah he’s no longer scared of the hills). We are so proud of him! And this picture isn’t of the bike but super cute anyways, right?!
