How lame are we??! We didn’t even carve our pumpkins!
Holt’s favorite game is cornhole…he loves it! He plays it every time we go to church. We walked up to Apex Baptist for their fall festival and that was the first thing Holt noticed was the cornhole. Check out how wide his hips look!
When we were in Concord last weekend we were able to see the Lanier family! Steph and I went to school together…middle school, high school and college. They live in Wilmington and we miss seeing them. Oliver is 10 months and such a cutie. I had to wake Holt up from his nap so he could see Oliver so he wasn’t in the greatest mood…but it was worth it!
And today is Steph’s birthday…Halloween…HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!
We finally made it to the pumpkin patch with Holt. He loved it and tried to pick up every pumpkin. He loved it so much we went back today to get some mums….
Because I get to hang out with this sweet baby all day long!
Last weekend Holt woke up with some crazy hair so we decided to finally get his 1st haircut. He did such a great job and they haircut lady kept saying he how much hair he had for a 1 year old little boy!

Just a short post to show off some pics from Holt’s bday party on Sunday. Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the festivities! We had a blast and Holt was loving the company, toys and cake

Now Jason and i had a compromise–i got to dress Holt for the 1st half of the party (pre cake) and Jason for the last half (post cake). Go figure all camo for the last 1/2 of the party.

Quick update on Holt. He’s better stomach bug wise but now he has 4 teeth coming in which are causing him some serious pain. Poor guy can’t catch a break. He woke up this morning at 5am just sobbing.
We went to the doctor on Friday but they advised us not to give Holt his shots since he had such a rough week! Here are his stats (a little sad as yes, he has lost weight since his 9 month appointment due to this awful stomach bug):
Weight: 21lb 10 oz (45%) Heigh: 30.5 inches (75%) Head: 47.5 cm (75%)Anyways he did smile a little today when Nonie came with his birthday present….a little tikes car!

Today we celebrated Holt’s 1st birthday! Poor guy–he was sick as a dog still from Saturday and he even had to go to the doctor today to make sure he wasn’t dehydrated. He’s pitiful and he could not even eat any birthday cake (so Jgas and I enjoyed some for him!)
This year has flown by and we couldn’t imagine life without our sweet, handsome, busy little boy! It’s been amazing to watch Holt grow up this year starting from a 6 lb 12oz tiny little boy to now a 22 lber! We love you buddy!
