Annie turned 9 months on Christmas Day. She’s wild, sweet, vocal and oh so fun these days. Into everything and loves ‘playing’ with Holt. And Holt still can get the best giggles from her by pulling her like a wild, crazy man through the back yard in the wagon and chasing her throughout the house. I love how they are really starting to interact.

Just last week Annie learned to clap and now she is so proud of it and claps all the time. And just today she’s started to wave and sorta say BYE BYE. She’s finally consistently sleeping through the night. She’s starting to eat table foods–peas are a new favorite. And still would eat bananas at every meal if she had her way. She’s got a tooth coming in now so that makes 5. And her hair is starting to come in! Still not enough for a hair bow yet but we are making some serious progress! Annie is starting to stand by herself for brief moments and loves pushing her baby stroller that’s also a walker. Definitely still loves her paci and pink blankie (both of which we dont go anywhere without!)

Love this girl!

This Christmas was a FUN one with Holt! I think he has already played with every single gift he received.

Annie enjoyed eating the wrapping paper and she’s loving her new toys as well!

first hair bow

Thank you to the Smith family for sending Annie her first hair bow. Kinda sad I know that she is 9 months old and just got a hairbow. Poor thing still hardly has any hair. Jgas was so pumped that not only did she finally get a hair bow but it’s a florida gator bow. And check out that super cute sweater she’s rocking…oh yeah my talented mom knit that for Annie.

I’m sad to say that lately my phone camera has taken place of our real camera…

First off, we love Apex. And we LOVE that our backyard backs up right into downtown Apex. So the day of the Christmas parade Jgas took about 15 chairs downtown at about 10am (the parade didn’t start until 5) to reserve our spots. Friends came over and we had the best time and great seats. Can’t wait to do it again next year. Sadly, these were the only 2 photos I took….

Holt had a blast. He and Miller had front row seats and they were loving it

I would have never let Holt chew on race cars when he was this young….Annie’s favorite ‘chew’ toys consist of train tracks, race cars, Holt’s hats and the railing on her crib. Sorry, Anns. We do really have some age appropriate toys for her, but Holt’s are so much more fun to play with!

This sweet litte girl is into EVERYTHING. Holt always says “Anns you little rascal!” She pulls up on the couch, the ottoman, her crib, Holt’s bed, the bathtub, the kitchen chairs…you name it! Now if we can just get her to sleep through the night again………

This little girl is obsessed with her big brother. You should see the way her whole face lights up when she sees him! And she just laughs at him. It’s so sweet. Love these two!

Halloween was so much fun this year. Holt LOVED going treat or treating. At each house he would say (in this order) “thank you!” “treat or treating!” And his fireman outfit (thanks Courtney) was perfect since it was raining. And poor Annie has slacker parents and she didn’t really get an outfit. I remembered on the way home from work Monday afternoon that we still had the rasta hat from my dad (yes, that was Halloween and we didn’t have anything for her before then…2nd child i guess??!) It was last minute but a total hit….everyone laughed when they saw our fair skinned baby with the rasta hat on.
